Sefton Thesing

As a Theta BI practice lead he is responsible for leadership of a team of BI consultants as well as consulting on major client projects. When engaged with a client project Sefton typically provides strategic consulting, technical quality assurance, data modelling and solution architecture design services.

Hailing from a strong technical background and having previously run a number of BI consulting practices, including his own, Sefton is able to establish rapport and a high level of trust with his clients through the depth of his knowledge and experience. He is as comfortable working with technical staff as with senior business management teams, is customer results focused and dedicated to implementing world class solutions for his clients drawing on strong business acumen and experience with industry leading practices.

A graduate from University of Auckland with a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, majoring in information technology, Sefton is recognised as being an expert and as such, has been called upon to present papers at business intelligence and data warehousing seminars. Whilst he enjoys sharing his own experience and knowledge and with others, Sefton also ensures he is abreast of technological advances and global trends by attending international courses and conferences.
