Microsoft Gold Partner: Cloud Platform

Recognising our substantial experience implementing solutions in the cloud, we have recently achieved Microsoft Gold Partner status in the Cloud Platform competency. This takes our Microsoft Gold partner competency count to seven.

Theta is now a Microsoft Gold Partner across seven different areas - application integration, application development, collaboration and content, data analytics, data platform, ERP and now cloud platform.

Our new cloud status recognises technical capability – we have a pool of specialist consultants certified in the Azure platform – as well as our track record managing cloud solutions. Our cloud consultants and architects have delivered a range of Azure solutions, from relatively simple websites to complex analytics platforms, and everything in between.

According to Microsoft, “Gold partners demonstrate the highest, most specialized capability to meet customer needs.”

CEO Rob Lee says the company is pleased to achieve this recognition.

“We’ve invested a lot in cloud. We’ve supported our people through technical training and continuing education as the Azure platform evolves, and made sure our customers could benefit from the latest cloud technologies. Gold partner status reflects that effort.”

Cloud is a strategic area for many organisations, and uptake is both widespread and accelerating. IDC forecasts that worldwide public IT cloud services revenue will reach $203.4B USD by 2020, almost seven times the rate of overall IT spending growth.

As a Microsoft Gold Partner in the Cloud Platform competency, we help customers modernise their infrastructure, migrate applications and data to the cloud, and build analytics solutions on data platforms in the cloud. ERP is an area of particularly strong growth, with many of our NAV customers on or moving to Azure.

Complementing gold partner status, Theta is also a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP). Says Cloud Services Lead Emmanuel Auffray:

“The CSP programme has helped us support organisations on their digital transformation journeys, through the delivery of Microsoft cloud-based solutions in simple packaged offerings. CSP allows us to streamline how our customers consume cloud services – they only have to deal with one partner, and be billed once. This makes it easier to build and foster enduring relationships.”
