Global Integration Bootcamp kicks off in Auckland

The Auckland event, which thanks to our timezone kicked things off around the world, had a mix of seasoned and new presenters. There were 35 participants from across NZ, and the event showcased the latest and greatest Microsoft technologies across a range of sessions - from introductory talks to deep dives and best practice guidance.

Theta had a strong presence, with our Microsoft integration consultants from Wellington and Christchurch flying in for the event, and presentations by both Wagner Silveira and Alessandro Moura,

Wagner – our Principal Integration Architect – was one of the event co-organisers (with Craig Haiden), and presented one of the breakout sessions, introducing attendees to bots, language understanding intelligent services (LUIS) and Microsoft Flow.

Alessandro – our Lead Integration Consultant – presented a demo-rich session showcasing best practice in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) for Logic Apps and Azure Functions – a direct result of his work at Theta across various client projects.

Wagner reports:

“The event was a big success with lots of people attending for the first time, very good sessions and discussions, and a relaxed environment were we all shared our experiences. It was also great to see a great turnout from Theta, including those who travelled from Wellington and Christchurch to attend. And having their feedback that the event was what they expected, and more, is just the icing on the cake.”

This sentiment seems to be reflected across the twittersphere with many organisers, presenters and attendees sharing the same feeling around the globe.
