Finalist in three categories at Microsoft New Zealand Partner Awards 2018

Theta has been named a finalist in the 2018 Microsoft New Zealand Partner Awards in the Cloud for Good, Engaging Customers and Business Applications categories.

Says Theta CEO Rob Lee:

“We’re delighted to get this recognition for the innovative work we do with Microsoft technologies, for our customers, across three distinct areas of our business – business solutions, digital innovation and cloud transformation.”

The finalists

FAQ Bot – a chatbot with a mission

FAQ Bot - a product of our innovation lab – is making chatbots accessible to small local organisations and large multinationals alike, and helping them to engage their customers. It’s an AI-powered chatbot with a mission – to answer more questions, for more people, on more platforms than any other bot.

FAQ Bot is up for the Engaging Customers Award.

Modernising job management with a single end-to-end solution

We worked with Downer to develop a facilities maintenance application with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service. It’s already proving to be a key digital transformation platform for the business. Downer is making the shift to a streamlined, proactive and optimised service that’s data-driven. This has delivered efficiencies and insights, and is helping Downer win new work.

“With increased transparency and access to data, we can take a journey with our clients, where everyone’s learning and improving together.” Paul Burgoyne, Manager, Digital Business Transition at Downer

This project is a finalist in the Business Applications category.

Cloud for Good with Emerge Aotearoa

Emerge Aotearoa is one of New Zealand’s largest NGOs, providing a wide range of community-based mental health, addiction, disability support and social housing services nationwide. The organisation is working with Theta to roll out a modern, Office 365-based workplace that supports almost 1000 staff in their work in communities throughout Aotearoa, and realise their vision of reducing the distance between individuals in its workforce. Mana Parata, Emerge Aotearoa’s Business Services Manager, explains:

“Now that the cloud door was open to us, we needed to find an efficient and secure way to roll it out to our staff. Theta helped us to make use of the right subscription and tools from the Microsoft stack. We now have mobile device management at scale – across our entire workforce.”

This project is a finalist in the Cloud for Good category.
