Extra for experts: Alan Moore tackles the High Five-0 Challenge
This weekend sees the start of the High Five-0 Challenge - where Malcolm Law climbs 50 peaks and runs 50 off-road marathons throughout New Zealand, in just 50 days.
This event aims to raise at least $250,000 for the Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
One of Theta's resident adventurers (we have a few!) and leader of our Cure Kids Great Adventure Race team, Alan Moore, will join Mal for day two - Thunderbolt in the Kaimanawas. It's estimated to take 11-12 hours, the degree of difficulty is "very hard" and check out the route profile (from the High Five-0 Challenge website):
An impressive challenge! We're very proud of Alan and his tireless fundraising efforts, and are delighted to sponsor him in this event and support the High Five-0 Challenge and the Mental Health Foundation. We've also matched this $500 sponsorship with another $500 to support our Cure Kids fundraising efforts this year - another fantastic cause.
If you'd like to support the Mental Health Foundation by backing Alan on the High Five-0 challenge, head on over to his fundraising page.
