2017 MicroStrategy Symposium: Analytics for everyone
This year’s MicroStrategy Symposium was co-hosted by Theta and MicroStrategy at Eden Park in Auckland.
MicroStrategy customers came along to hear about Microstrategy’s future technology plans, share their stories, network and learn from their peers.
The University of Auckland’s chief digital officer Stephen Whiteside gave the customer keynote on the university’s analytics journey.
Sefton Thesing hosted a panel discussion on predictive analytics, with representatives from Xero and The University of Auckland as well as our own head of analytics Gary Blumgart.
Pieter Coetzee also presented on using R with MicroStrategy for predictive analytics and sentiment analysis during one of the technical streams.
Continuing the customer stories theme, we heard from Treescape about their new Executive Mobile BI App and from the Warehouse about their very successful Store Managers Operations iPad app.
