Meet our Cure Kids Great Adventure Race team for 2018
The countdown is on to the Cure Kids Great Adventure Race 2018, happening this Saturday in the Hunua Ranges. For the sixth time we are fielding a team of four adventurers in this 5-7 hour challenging event.

Gearing up for the Cure Kids Great Adventure Race 2018
The next Cure Kids Great Adventure Race takes place on 17 March 2018. Our fundraising efforts are already well under way, and this year we hope to be able to enter two Theta teams in the race, with team members from Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

ARC Midnight Express – race report
This year, with no Cure Kids Great Adventure Race to compete in, Theta’s keen adventure racers decided instead of taking a year off to up the ante by entering Adventure Racing Coromandel’s Midnight Express. Kicking off at midnight last Saturday, and finishing some 18 hours later, the team had some tales to tell back at work this week.

Our adventure racers have found a new challenge this year. The ARC Midnight Express, as its name suggests, starts just after midnight, and covers 148.5 kilometres, so some training is required!

2016 Cure Kids Great Adventure Race Day Report: The Spirit of the Race
Team Theta retained the IT Cup, placed sixth overall and raised more than $17,000 for Cure Kids – our biggest total yet - in this year’s Cure Kids Great Adventure Race. Team leader Alan Moore, the driving force behind Theta’s Cure Kids fundraising and adventure race participation, was presented with the Spirit of the Race award – which we think is the best award in the race!

Cure Kids team is ready to race
As the sun crept up with shards of brilliant daylight illuminating the mist that lay thick in the valleys of the Hunua ranges last Saturday, Theta's intrepid Cure Kids racers started their last big training exercise for this year’s Cure Kids Great Adventure Race, to be held on 19 March.
