Pieter Coetzee
Lead Consultant & MicroStrategy Specialist
Pieter has more than 15 years of IT consulting experiencing. The majority of this time was spent specialising in data warehouse design, ETL and the implementation of world class business intelligence solutions on the MicroStrategy platform.
Pieter has successfully delivered many BI implementations across various industry verticals including retail, banking, telecoms, gaming and mining.
He has a bachelor’s degree in information technology from NMMU in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, is widely recognised as an expert in his field and has delivered various implementation and administration courses on MicroStrategy. During his seven years at MicroStrategy EMEA Pieter was recognised numerous times as one of the more senior consultants. He is often responsible for reviewing BI environments and is typically required to solve more complicated problems.
Pieter enjoys passing down knowledge and experience as a mentor as well as through official classroom environments. He enjoys cave diving and holds an advanced nitrox technical dive instructor rating with IANTD.
